The Collection
Not 60. Not 600. Four. We turned down 40 potential properties last year alone — not because of cost, but because they didn’t meet the standard we’d stay in ourselves. That’s not a limitation. That’s the entire point.
It was 2022. We were in Dubai — a city we’d fallen completely in love with — but staying in a flat that promised luxury and delivered disappointment. Cold fluorescent lighting. Thin towels. A check-in that felt like a transaction with a stranger who couldn’t wait to leave.
We looked at each other and said: someone should fix this. Then we realised — that someone was us.
We didn’t launch a platform. We didn’t list a hundred properties. We found four homes we’d genuinely want to stay in ourselves. We furnished them the way we’d want to arrive. And we decided to stay in every single one of them before a guest ever would.

Every property that enters consideration goes through the same rigorous evaluation. No exceptions. No shortcuts. If it doesn’t feel right at 2am after a long flight, it doesn’t make our collection. Most don’t.
We Visit It Ourselves
Every property is visited in person by our team. We don’t evaluate from photos or owner descriptions. We walk through, we question, we look for what the listing doesn’t show.
We Stay Overnight
We sleep in the bed. We use the shower. We cook in the kitchen. If something is uncomfortable at midnight, it’s uncomfortable for our guests — and that’s not acceptable.
We List Every Flaw
We document everything: lighting quality, linen thread count, WiFi dead spots, elevator wait times, noise levels at 11pm. Every flaw is either fixed or the property is declined.
We Walk Away From Most
The majority of properties we visit don’t make our collection. Not because they’re bad — because they’re not exceptional. And exceptional is the only standard we hold ourselves to.

That means every booking is legally protected, professionally managed, and held to Dubai’s highest hospitality standards.
